This is funny but also a real issue that’ll need to be addressed, how we think about cash and assets we hold is going to change. If instant swap or settlement infrastructure is made available at the point of sale, it means people could pay for goods and services with a variety of tokenized asset types, like investments via tokenized stocks or a store of value like gold, and it also means merchants could choose their unit of account of choice to accept as payment. In that world, people will likely not value holding cash like they once did. Side note: Compliant tax infra is easy to overlook, but an important piece to enable this future for businesses and consumers.
