1/ 🤖 If Agent is the answer, why are there still centralized components everywhere in DeFi?
Because Agent addresses the symptoms, while the intention aims to tackle the root cause—@anoma is fundamentally curing the coordination cancer of Web3 at the protocol layer.
I am confused about @anoma's intention: isn't this just a name change for Agent?
Wrong! After reading the white paper, I realized: intention is the atomic Lego of the protocol layer, while Agent is merely an execution tool at the application layer.👇

2/ 🔑 Key Differences:
1️⃣ Intent = Stated Goal
→ "I want to exchange 1 ETH for ≥2000 USDC"
→ No need to specify the path/counterparty, the solver automatically NP optimizes the match
2️⃣ Agent = Execution Process
→ "Monitor DEX, initiate the trade when 1 ETH > 2000 USDC"
→ Relies on preset strategies, logic exposed can be front-run 👇
3/ 💡 Why crush the Agent with intent?
Privacy: Intent can be encrypted (ZK verification conditions), Agent policies are exposed
Composability: Alice sells ETH + Bob buys tickets + Carol exchanges for a hotel → Solver executes atomic settlement with one click
No trust risk: The solver has no authority to move user assets; the Agent requires private key authorization 👇
4/ 🌉 Deeper Meaning:
Anoma turns "user goals" into protocol-level primitives, just like TCP/IP standardized data transmission. The Agent is merely a patch on the old architecture—trying to optimize the road to Rome with a horse-drawn carriage, while Anoma directly fixed the high-speed rail!
⛓️ Attention Developers:
In the future, Agents can generate better intentions based on Anoma (such as dynamically adjusting price thresholds), but the settlement layer will always be the Lego empire of intentions. 👇
