I will be posting 1 of my favorite cards from my collection each day until $LINK is back to ATH.
Starting with the Umbreon VMAX from Evolving Skies (215/203).
Currently trading up from about €1100 raw in this condition, this card is one of the most sought after pulls of the already very popular set.
The set itself was plagued with supply chain issues and a sealed pack starts around €30 these days.
I bought this card as part of a larger collection of Eeveelutions about 2 years ago. Full collection was acquired for €650 back then and included some other really cool cards that appreciated in value, which I'll post another day.
This is one of those cards I won't be parting with for probably another decade. The set and Pokémon have proven to hold value well and let's be honest it's just as cool as they come.
Graded PSA 9 or above (which seems to be possible for this specific copy), current value is well above €1600.
