IMO this isn’t the right position for IMX. This fits Ronin. They own the onchain gaming space and their whole ecosystem is built around rewards-first design. Immutable’s strength is premium games that stand on their own. If every title leans on web3 reward systems, it dilutes the brand and attracts the wrong audience. Long term, that hurts the studios more than it helps. Robbie isn’t wrong that rewards drive growth. They do. But the better play for IMX imo is curating quality games that don’t need heavy incentives to retain real players.
The single best growth strategy for a web2 game is to offer web3 rewards.
