The cryptocurrency market today is experiencing a noticeable correction. The global market capitalization is currently hovering around the $2.4 trillion mark, down about 1.1% in the past 24 hours. The fear and greed index has retreated to a neutral level as investors begin to take profits after a period of rapid growth. Notably, Bitcoin's (BTC Dominance) market share is rising to 58.5%, indicating that capital is flowing out of higher-risk Altcoins in search of safety in the leading asset.
Key currency movements
• Bitcoin (BTC): Trading in the range of $68,000 - $69,000. After failing to maintain higher levels, BTC is striving to establish a new support zone for accumulation.
• Ethereum (ETH): Showing a slightly less pronounced decline compared to the overall Altcoin market, currently hovering around $2,150. The ETH/BTC exchange rate is indicating a slight weakening of the buying side on this largest smart contract network.
• Market highlights: While most of the market is in the red, some individual projects are still experiencing strong breakthroughs. EdgeX has recorded an impressive growth of over 20%, reflecting the appeal from community campaigns and its own ecosystem. Anonymous coins like Zcash (ZEC) have also seen a slight recovery of about 5%.

ANALYZING THE $292 MILLION HACK: WHEN "
SINGLE POINT OF FAILURE BECOMES A DISASTER
The Crypto market just went through a dark April with the exploit of the KelpDAO LayerZero bridge, taking away approximately 292 million USD (equivalent to 116,500 rsETH).
🔍 What happened?
This was not a traditional smart contract error. This was a sophisticated attack on off-chain infrastructure:
1. Node Manipulation: The Lazarus Group took control of 2 internal RPC nodes of LayerZero.
2. DDoS Attack: At the same time, they launched a DDoS attack to cripple external RPC nodes so the system could not verify real data.
3. Creating a Fake "Burn": With the controlled nodes, the attacker sent fake data about a "burn" command for a token that did not exist on the source chain.
4. Withdrawing Funds: Since the validation network (DVN) was in 1-of-1 mode (only 1 source needed for confirmation), the contract on Ethereum trusted and unlocked hundreds of millions of dollars in rsETH for the hacker.
Not everyone realizes this… but the game is heating up by the hour at @CerbAgent 👀
→ 660 creators have joined
→ 229 are on the leaderboard
→ 727 posts have been submitted
The current leader only holds 5.7% of the total points.
→ This means no one has "outperformed" yet
→ And the opportunity is still open for everyone who joins early and participates consistently.
The mechanism is very clear:
Consistency > hype.
🎯 Prize pool: $20,000 USDC
The top 50 creators will be rewarded.
This is no longer a question of whether to participate…
But rather: do you have enough perseverance to climb the ranks?
The game is still open.
And the leaderboard still belongs to no one.

It's truly impressive to see how @RallyOnChain is changing the game for creators. I just saw a typical case study: a creator earned about $350 in just a few short days.
The difference here isn't in a superficial equal distribution. Rally's reward structure is heavily focused on quality, where a large portion of the campaign budget is reserved for the Top 3 leaders. This approach ensures that truly outstanding content receives the value it deserves instead of getting lost in the crowd.
When the platform uses AI to evaluate and filter the best content, the result is an explosive payment speed and actual received figures. If you believe in your creative abilities, this is where your performance can truly translate into quick income.
The next opportunity is coming up, are you ready to make it into the leading group?

GM Web3 fams
First time trying @NomismaNetwork, i honestly thought it would be as confusing as most testnets
But the flow is actually pretty smooth, from onboarding to completing tasks, everything feels easy to follow
What stood out to me is that it doesn’t feel like mindless clicking just to farm rewards
Some parts are still rough and clearly in progress, but that’s exactly what makes it feel like a real build, not just short-term hype
If they keep improving and stay consistent with user experience, Nomisma could be one to watch next cycle
=============================
The internet moves fast, but context often gets lost over time.
In the next few years, information won’t just be about speed, but about trust and continuity, systems like @permacastapp (@Permaweb_DAO) built on Arweave are moving in that direction.
Not just storing data, but turning it into knowledge that stays relevant as things evolve.

I think the biggest story right now isn't market size, but the user experience. Crypto is still very small compared to global derivatives or forex, but the technology is far ahead: 24/7 trading, self custodial assets, and near instantaneous payments.
Meanwhile, the traditional banking system remains slow, especially for money transfers which can take days to process, sometimes even getting stuck over the weekend. It feels like the money is yours, but it's not truly in your hands.
Recently, I've been researching @useTria, and they're building a clear direction: a self managed neobank that retains control over assets while offering familiar financial services like Visa cards, derivatives trading, and multi chain asset movement. Their integration with Aptos also shows they're aiming for speed and efficiency sufficient to serve larger needs.
Ultimately, I think pulling liquidity from TradFi onto chain is probably the necessary step to change the game, instead of continuing to endure the outdated systems we currently have. #tria

Happy Sunday Chads ☕️
Big one from @GBMauction 🤑
They’re not just launching a token… they’re rolling out a whole new auction primitive for Web3.
The $GBM TGE introduces a model where:
☑️ Bidders aren’t punished for participating
☑️ Incentives are baked directly into the auction flow
☑️ Value doesn’t just go to the seller, it’s shared across participants
At its core 💁♂️ GBM flips traditional auctions on its head with a bid to earn mechanism 💰 aligning users, creators & platforms in one loop. (eli5defi on Notion)
This isn’t just another token launch… it’s the activation of a protocol designed to power 👤
→ NFT marketplaces
→ on chain asset sales
→ attention driven economies
If this model scales, we could be looking at a new standard for price discovery onchain.
Early days, but the thesis is clear:
👉 Participation = value
👉 Attention = monetized
👉 Auctions = upgraded
Keep $GBM on your radar ✅
