Official Rules for the Man City x OKX ADFW Giveaway
1. Overview
This fan engagement activation and competition (the "Activation") is sponsored by OKX Middle East FinTech FZE (the "Organizer"), a corporate partner of Abu Dhabi Finance Week (ADFW). The Organizer is running this competition with the official partnership of Manchester City Football Club Limited ("Manchester City") for branding and promotional purposes. The Activation consists of two separate competition streams: one based on a random draw for Emirati Nationals (Stream 1), and one based on the Organizer's discretion for non-Emirati attendees (Stream 2).
For the avoidance of doubt, Manchester City is an official partner but is not the promoter or administrator of this Activation.
2. Eligibility
To participate in this Activation, you must be at least eighteen (18) years old and be the age of majority in the country you reside. You must also be a registered attendee and be physically present at Abu Dhabi Finance Week (ADFW).
The following people are not eligible to enter:
A. Restricted Jurisdictions: Individuals located in, or citizens/residents of, the following countries and regions are not eligible to participate: Australia, The Bahamas, Bangladesh, Belgium, Bolivia, Brazil, Canada, China, Crimea, Cuba, Donetsk, Hong Kong, India, Iran, Italy, Luhansk, Malaysia, Mexico, North Korea, Philippines, Singapore, Syria, Thailand, Ukraine (collectively, the "Restricted Jurisdictions").
B. Employees of the Organizer, its parent, affiliates, subsidiaries, promotional agencies, and the immediate family (spouse, parents, siblings, and children) and household members of those employees.
2.1. Dual Stream Eligibility:
Stream 1 (Emirati Prize Draw): Restricted solely to attendees who are Emirati Nationals (proof via Emirates ID required upon winning).
Stream 2 (Super Fan Giveaway): Open to all ADFW attendees of any nationality other than Emirati (non-Emirati).
3. Entry Periods:
The competition entry period begins at 12:00 AM GST on 8th November 2025 and ends at 23:59 GST on 10th November 2025 ("Entry Period"). The Organizer's official time-keeping device shall be final.
4. How to Enter:
a. Social Media Entry: Participation in this Activation requires the creation and submission of content via the Organizer's designated social media platform(s) (e.g., X, Instagram). Participants must complete the following mandatory tasks:
i. Like and share the official Activation entry post.
ii. Comment on the official entry post with a video, photo, or creative submission that answers the prompt: "Why are you the biggest Man City fan?"
b. Mandatory Verification: All submissions must also:
i. Clearly state the participant's nationality (to determine Stream eligibility).
ii. Include verifiable proof that the participant is physically attending ADFW (e.g., photo with the ADFW badge, confirmed location tag, etc.).
c. Entry Limit: There is a limit of one (1) entry per person across both competition streams. By entering, you represent that you agree to these Official Rules and the Organizer's decisions regarding the Activation, which are final and binding. Winning a prize is contingent upon fulfilling all requirements in these Official Rules.
5. Selection of Winners:
5.1. Stream 1 (Emirati Prize Draw):
Winners will be randomly selected from the pool of eligible participants who are Emirati Nationals and successfully completed the entry requirements during the Entry Period.
The odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible Emirati participants.
5.2. Stream 2 (Super Fan Giveaway):
Winners will be selected solely based on the Organizer's discretion.
Selection Criteria: The Organizer will assess entries based on overall creativity, passion, depth of fan commitment, and the quality of the visual/video submission. Selection is not based on quantitative measures.
The decision of the Organizer's designated panel is final and non-negotiable.
5.3. Draw Timing:
- The selection for both streams will take place on 11th November 2025.
6. Potential Winner Requirements:
A potential winner will be notified via Direct Message (DM) on the social media platform used for entry on 11th November 2025.
a. Claim Deadline: The potential winner must respond and acknowledge the prize notification within 4 hours of the initial DM. Failure to respond within this timeframe may result in forfeiture of the prize and the selection of an alternate winner.
b. Verification: Winners must provide proof of identity, age, and nationality upon collection of the prize. Emirati winners (Stream 1) must present their Emirates ID.
c. Publicity Release: By entering, winners agree to participate in a photo opportunity with their prize on 11th November 2025, which grants the Organizer the right to use the winner's name and photo for promotional purposes without further compensation.
7. Prizes:
The estimated total approximate retail value of all prizes to be distributed is approximately $4,500 USD.
The total prize pool consists of six (6) signed items to be distributed across both Stream 1 and Stream 2 winners:
Haaland 25/26 signed home shirt (x1)
Pep 24/25 signed home shirt (x1)
KDB Signed Captains Armband (x1)
Haaland 24/25 signed home shirt (x1)
Foden 25/26 signed home shirt (x1)
Signed Coffee table book and champions t shirt (x1)
Allocation:
Stream 1 (Emirati Winners): Three (3) winners will each receive one signed item.
Stream 2 (Super Fan Winners): Three (3) winners will receive one signed item.
The specific item allocated to each winner is at the sole discretion of the Organizer.
8. Prize Details:
a. Taxes and Expenses: A winner is solely responsible for paying any applicable income taxes and any and all other costs and expenses associated with the prize not expressly listed here (e.g., travel to the collection point).
b. No Cash Alternative: Prizes are non-transferable and no substitution or cash equivalent of the prize is permitted.
9. General Conditions:
In the event that the operation, security, or administration of the Activation is impaired in any way, the Organizer may, in its sole discretion, either: (a) suspend the Activation to address the impairment and then resume the Activation; or (b) award the prizes from among the eligible entries received up to the time of the impairment. The Organizer reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify and seek damages from any individual who tampers with the operation of the Activation, violates these Official Rules, or acts in a disruptive or unsportsmanlike manner. The Organizer's failure to enforce any term of these Official Rules shall not constitute a waiver of that provision. The Activation is subject to all applicable laws and regulations of the United Arab Emirates and is void where prohibited. By participating in this Activation, users agree to these Terms and Conditions, and the following additional Social Media Giveaway Terms and Conditions, all of which are incorporated by reference into these Terms and Conditions. In the case of any inconsistency or conflict between these Terms and Conditions, and any other incorporated terms, the provisions of these Terms and Conditions shall prevail, followed by the Social Media Giveaway Terms and Conditions.
10. Privacy and Publicity:
Any information you submit as part of the Activation will be used in accordance with the Organizer’s privacy policy. By participating in the Activation, you grant the Organizer permission to share your personally identifiable information for the purpose of administration, winner verification, and prize fulfillment.
11. Release and Limitations of Liability:
By entering, you agree to release and hold harmless the Organizer, Manchester City, its parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, and agencies, and each of their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents (collectively, the “Released Parties”) from and against any claim or cause of action arising out of participation in the Activation or receipt or use of any prize. You further agree that in any cause of action, in no event shall the Released Parties be liable for attorneys' fees or other legal costs. You waive the right to claim any damages whatsoever, including, but not limited to, punitive, consequential, direct, or indirect damages.
12. Disputes:
Any and all disputes arising out of or related to this Activation shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. You agree that the Dubai International Financial Centre (“DIFC”) Courts shall have exclusive jurisdiction to hear and determine any action or proceeding arising out of or related to this Activation.
